SheetChat AI ("the App") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how the App collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our application.
1. Information We Process
SheetChat AI allows users to open, view, edit, analyze, and export Excel spreadsheets stored on their own devices.
Your spreadsheet files are processed locally on your device. The App does not upload your Excel files or spreadsheet contents to our servers.
2. Files You Select
The App only accesses the Excel file that you explicitly choose to open.
The App does not scan or access other files on your device without your permission.
3. Advertising
SheetChat AI uses Google AdMob to display advertisements.
Google AdMob may automatically collect certain information, including:
- Advertising ID
- Device information
- IP address
- Diagnostic information
- Approximate location (depending on your device settings)
This information is collected and processed by Google according to Google's Privacy Policy.
4. Analytics & Crash Reporting
If Firebase services are enabled, anonymous crash reports and diagnostic information may be collected to improve app stability and performance.
Spreadsheet contents are not collected as part of crash reporting.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information.
Your Excel files remain on your device unless you choose to share them using Android's sharing features.
6. Permissions
The App may request permission to:
- Open Excel files selected by you
- Save exported documents
- Share files through Android's share menu
These permissions are used only to provide the requested functionality.
7. Data Security
Your spreadsheet data remains stored on your device. We do not store your Excel files on our servers.
8. Children's Privacy
SheetChat AI is not intended for children under the age of 13.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be published on this page with an updated effective date.
